Clients are responsible for understanding their documents prior to the appointment.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Present valid, unexpired, government-issued identification

• Ensure all required signers are present

• Ensure documents are complete (no blanks)

• Confirm their willingness to sign

• Provide accurate location details for mobile appointments

• Pay applicable fees

4. Fees, Payments, and Cancellations

• Standard and mobile notary fees are disclosed prior to service.

• Travel fees apply for mobile appointments.

• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated.

• Cancellations within a specific timeframe may incur charges for travel or time lost.

5. Intellectual Property

All website content—including branding, text, images, and materials—belongs to Notary Whizz LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Notary Whizz LLC is not responsible for:

• Delays due to traffic, weather, or conditions beyond our control

• Incorrect or incomplete information provided by clients

• Legal outcomes related to the documents notarized

• Losses or damages arising from use of our website or services

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service performed.

7. No Guarantee of Legal Results

Notarial services confirm identity and willingness to sign; they do not guarantee:

• Document validity

• Legal enforceability

• Acceptance by third parties

Clients are encouraged to consult legal counsel when needed.

8. Appointment Refusal

We reserve the right to decline or terminate an appointment if:

• A signer cannot present valid ID

• Coercion or fraud is suspected

• The document is incomplete

• The situation appears unsafe

This is required to comply with Virginia notarial law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
